Courtesy call by students on Algerian government scholarship

The Algerian government offers scholarship to students drawn from different African countries to study at their universities across the country.

Currently, there are 135 Kenyan students spread across 14 Wilayas (Provinces) in Algeria pursuing their studies in different fields including; Aeronautics, Medicine, Dental Science, Engineering and Economics.

The students’ representatives from the Wilayas paid a courtesy call to the Ambassador 4th November, 2020 to discuss among issues; Liaison between the Embassy and the students Union, the overall outlook of the scholarship Program and how to make the most of the good relations between Kenya and Algeria.
